Çekok Group, who continues it’s activities in the citrus production and industry since 1953 deceided to expand his truck fleet with Mercedes-Benz Actros 1844 LS and added 150 new Mercedes-Benz trucks into it. The current 91 pieces truck fleet consists already 64 Mercedes-Benz trucks and the aim of this big purchase from Çekok Group is to increase the strenght in his fleet and also to increase the logistic part of Çekok Group.
This purchase is also a emphasize of the importance that Çekok Group provides its customers with the latest technology, products, services and equipment during the meanwhile it is increasing his production capacity, his import and export activities and increases also his strength in the actual market position.
Mr. Ilhan ÇEKOK (President of Cekok Group), Mr. Cevdet ÇEKOK (Vice-President of Cekok Group), Mr. Halit KOCAMAN (Facilities Director), Mr Ümit BALTA (Logistic Manager), Mr. Wolf-Dieter Kurz (President of the board of directors from Mercedes Benz Türk A.S), Mr. Süer Sülün (Marketing and Sales director), Bahadır Özbayır (Marketing and Sales Manager of Trucks), Mr Ali Türkay Saltık (General Manager of Koluman, dealer from Mercedes Benz Türk AS) Mr Kaan Saltık (Marketing and Sales director), Kürşat İnce (Truck Sales Manager) and Mr Kenan Cetin (General manager of Hama Car Rental) haved joined to the delivery ceremony where 2 of the 150 new Actros 1844LS were delivered to CEKOK group.
Mr. Ilhan ÇEKOK (President of Cekok Group) said at the speech during the ceremony that ÇEKOK A.S decided to work with Mercedes-Benz because of their widespread network, low periodic maintance cost’s, low operation cost’s during long term uses, high resales value and customer satiscaftion. Mr ÇEKOK said also it was easier to make the decision to the Mercedes-Benz Actros due to low fuel consumption and resistance to severe road conditions.
ÇEKOK is serving his customers with the hole-sales places in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa and Adapazarı, with an wide product range of 41 and ‘’as fresh as from the garden’’ products and offers them a 7/24 hours service.
The main target of ÇEKOK group wich employs more than 2.000 people is to environment in a sustainable way to ensure safe food production. As of 2011, 10,500 hectares of agricultural fields in different regions of Turkey with an production capacity of 200,000 tons and annual production of 41 different products, ÇEKOK is processing the countries economy continues to contribute.
